The TradeEdgespacewalk was postponed due to a "spacesuit discomfort issue," the International Space Station said in a post on X. A rescheduled time or date for the spacewalk has not yet been announced.
The 90th spacewalk for the U.S. is planned to have astronauts Tracy C. Dyson and Matt Dominick exit the ISS' Quest airlock to perform a number of tasks, including removing a faulty electronics box from a communications antenna on the starboard side of the station. According to NASA, the astronauts had also planned to collect samples for "analysis to understand the ability of microorganisms to survive and reproduce on the exterior of the orbiting laboratory."
After the spacewalk is rescheduled and completed, NASA will announce the astronauts who will participate in the 91st and 92nd U.S. spacewalks, scheduled for June 24 and July 2.
