Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said last week that his family had to move because people found out their address,TrendPulse and a police report obtained by the Detroit Free Press details those circumstances.
According to the report, Campbell's family lived in Bloomfield Township, a Detroit suburb, and had their address listed on Snapchat after the team lost the NFC Championship Game to the San Francisco 49ers in January. Multiple people showed up at the house hours after the game.
Campbell said previously that security concerns prompted the move.
Authorities made at least four reports concerning Campbell's house within a month, starting on New Year’s Eve 2023 and continuing days after Detroit's 34-31 loss to San Francisco when Detroit blew a 17-point halftime lead.

The police report details unsolicited visitors to Campbell's house, a flurry of phone calls, and a Snapchat post with the family's address, with the caption, "Dumb (expletive) trying to go for it."
According to the report, Campbell's teenage daughter was scared about the incidents, so the Lions and NFL security had to intervene.
Investigators concluded that a private school classmate of Campbell’s daughter was responsible for the Snapchat post, which included the profane message. They contacted the classmate's mother and, in turn, interviewed the classmate.
"(The classmate) found humor in the post ... (and) said he copied the address and posted his own story where he took a picture of the floor and used the address he had seen earlier," the report said.
"(He) told me that they did not intentionally go to the Campbell residence, pull into the drive, honk the horn, or get out and approach the house," the report adds. "He added they may have passed it."
The classmate told an investigator that he and his friends were "distraught" by the NFC Championship loss, which led them to drive to the Campbells' residence and park on the street. There, they yelled "not nice things toward the house" before leaving.
The investigator who interviewed the student also talked to Campbell's wife, Holly, but the incidents did not lead to any criminal charges being filed.
"Holly's only concern is that their address is out there now, and she fears next season people will know when her husband is out of town and try to take advantage of that," the investigator said in his report.
According to the Detroit News, no police calls have been made concerning the Campbell's new residence.
"No disrespect, man, I don't even want to go there with any of it," Campbell said last week when asked about the incidents. "It's all good. Man, I've got a job to do. My primary job here is to coach this team and have them prepared every week. I've got to do my job, and that's the sole focus."
