This year's Halloween costume trends are predicted to be particularly pop-culture heavy: from costumes inspired by newly released movies like "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" to real-life moments like JoJo Siwa's over-the-top "Karma" outfit.
There is plenty of fodder for costume-seekers looking to draw eyes with fresh movie and television references, as dedicated fan bases have cropped around 2024's many media premieres.
Prime Video is hoping to capitalize on the buzz, offering fans of smash hit live-action shows like "Fallout" and "The Boys" and animated original series like "Invincible" and "Hazbin Hotel" with costumes for their favorite Prime original characters, whether they're looking for full-fledged super suits or a simple set of elf ears to complete a "Lord of the Rings" ensemble.
Looking for inspiration to pay homage to a character on "Fallout," "The Boys" or another Prime Video show this year? We've got you covered.
'Fallout' Halloween costumes
"Fallout" began as a 1997 role-playing video game (RPG) and went on to become one of the most iconic and recognizable franchises of all time. The release of the Amazon Prime "Fallout" television series in April reignited interest in the postapocalyptic universe, prompting an all-time high player count for the online Fallout 76 RPG and other games from the series.

The show's runaway success means revelers will surely be met with a sea of blue jumpsuits, ghoulish face paint and makeshift Pipboys this Halloween season.
Fans can suit up like real vault-dwellers with a men's four-piece Vault 76 jumpsuit, complete with gold detailing and leather armguards, for $79.99 or this similar women's vault-dweller costume featuring similar details but no emblazoned number for $64.99.
More of a surface-dweller type? Emulated "The Ghoul" Cooper Howard and his rugged style with this $139 cosplay-quality bounty hunter costume modeled after the TV show antagonist.
'The Boys' Halloween costumes
Audiences love "The Boys" for its satirical anti-hero take on the traditional superhero story and its biting, tongue-in-cheek social commentary. The latest season garnered plenty of buzz and fans are already looking forward to the premiere of season five when Daveed Diggs will be joining the cast.
The star characters of "The Boys" tend to be imperfect, if not downright evil, but that doesn't detract from the sheer coolness of the costume opportunities this Halloween.
Don Starlight's glamourous gold and white garb, complete with cape, starting at $42, or switch over to the dark side and wreak havoc as Homelander with this buff, red and white decked-out costume for $57.
Looking for another super character? Try this A-Train bodysuit, complete with glasses and gloves, for $62, this Queen Maeve dress set for $159, or this Soldier Boy costume for $74.99.
'Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' Halloween costumes
"Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" had fantasy nerds abuzz when the first three episodes of season two were released in August.
With the season still underway, a franchise already popular with cosplayers and customers is drawing new eyes as a source of inspiration this Halloween. Set thousands of years before the original "The Lord of the Rings" novel, the series primarily takes inspiration from the book's appendices and author J. R. R. Tolkien's history of Middle-earth.
As such, "LOTR" enthusiasts have new characters with fresh looks to reproduce.
Dress as ethereal elf royalty in this green and gold Galadriel chiffon dress for $62.99 and finish off the look with the appropriate elf ears, crown and long flowing blonde wig set for $27.99. Or, adorn yourself like familiar face Elrond with a complete cosplay set that includes a tunic, shoulder armor, cloak, pants and accessories for $164.99. For fans of tactical elf armor, this $157.99 Arondir costume comes with a detailed print emulating his armor plate, along with matching pants, arm guards and belt. Both costumes can be finished off with some $4.99 elf ears and a $21.99 toy bow and arrow set.
'Invincible' Halloween costumes
Like "The Boys," the animated series "Invincible" explores the less glamorous and more complex and, at times, not-so-heroic side of superhero stories.
The second season of the show ran from late 2023 into April 2024, making it more likely than not that spandex and supersuits will be all the rage in the Halloween costume world.
Main character types can don the titular character Mark Greyson's Invincible getup, made of stretchy spandex material and including a full-body suit, goggles and headpiece for $59.99. Fans of pink can opt to dress as the fiery Atom Eve instead by sporting this leotard, glove and cape set for $37.99 or move over and take on the role of a darker character with this $69.99 Omni-Man full-body jumpsuit and cape.
'Hazbin Hotel' Halloween costumes
"Hazbin Hotel's" grassroots origins, quirky style and all-star voice cast made it a runaway success when it hit Prime as an official Amazon production this year.
Full of colorful, zany and over-the-top yet easy-to-love animated characters, the series has inspired original YouTube fans and new viewers alike to take to social media and share inspiration for Hell-inspired looks.
Show your devilishly sweet side by dressing in protagonist Charlie Morningstar's snappy red suit for $35.99 and make a couple's costume by pairing it with this $42.99 Vaggie look, complete with lace socks, red hair bow, eyepatch and arm guards.
You could opt to emulate fan-favorite all-powerful demon Alastor with this $47.99 set with a matching red jacket, shirt and pants, bowtie and long-nailed gloves or party animal Angel Dust, whose look is recreated via a pink and white striped shirt-dress, bowtie, stockings and gloves for $27.99.
