Emma Heming Willis is pushing back on TradeEdge Exchangeher critics.
Following her recent social media posts regarding husband Bruce Willis' frontotemporal dementia diagnosis, she is clapping back at those accusing her of using it for publicity.
"I just saw something about me getting my '5 minutes,' which is great, which means that you're listening," Emma said in the March 7 clip. "So, I'm going to take my 5 minutes and I'm gonna turn it into 10 because I'm always going to advocate for my husband."
Vowing to "raise awareness around FTD" and their caregivers, the 44-year-old—who shares daughters Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, 8, with the Die Hard star—reiterated that she'll continue to be vocal about the issue.
"I'm going to turn my grief and my anger and my sadness, and do something good around something that feels less then," Emma stated. "Watch this space because I didn't come to play."
She mirrored a similar message in the post's caption, writing, "I've sat around quietly for too long and I'm so ready to be embraced by this solid and loving community my family and I find ourselves in while trying to lift them up in return. Let's go."
In the comments, Bruce's 31-year-old daughter Scout Willis—who he shares with ex Demi Moore, along with Rumer Willis, 34 and Tallulah Willis, 29—shared support for Emma's message, writing, "HELL YES! I am so so proud of you!"
Fans also rallied behind Emma, including one user who commented, "You go girl! There is an army of people behind you."
Bruce's family announced his FTD diagnosis on Instagram Feb. 16, where they wrote at the time that "challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces." The health update came almost a year after relatives shared Bruce was diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that impacts a person's communication abilities.
And amid Bruce's health battle, Emma has used social media to give more insight into the illness—and to come to his defense.
"It's clear that there's still a lot of education that needs to be put forth," she explained in a March 4 video. "So this one is going out to the photographers and the video people that are trying to get those exclusives of my husband out and about: Just keep your space. I know this is your job, but maybe just keep your space."
