Good morning and Happy Friday! This is Betty Lin-Fisher with Friday's consumer-focused The Daily Money.
Flight delays are annoying anytime they happen. But when it's at the crack of dawn or for a red-eye flight, well, then it has affected your sleep and may make you extra cranky.
Want to know which of the 50 busiest U.S. airports have the worst records for those flight delays?
My colleague, Kathleen Wong, shares the details of an Upgraded Points survey, which analyzed data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
Protect yourself from cybercriminals
Here's two pieces of advice this week surrounding cybersecurity and your personal electronic devices.
Windows users are being warned of increased threats by criminals. The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is warning about vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows 10 software.
The Register, an enterprise technology news site, also issued a warning to Windows users earlier this week, saying "criminals are preying on Windows users yet again, this time in an effort to hit them with a keylogger that can also steal credentials and take screenshots."
USA TODAY tech columnist Kim Komando is also reminding readers that cybersecurity experts say consumers should be wary of TikTok and Temu and delete the apps.
