Reports: Frank Clark to sign with Seattle Seahawks, team that drafted him

Frank Clark is going back where it all started.
The three-time Pro Bowl pass rusher is set to sign with the Seattle Seahawks, given that he passes a physical, CBS Sports' Josina Anderson and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday.
The Seahawks selected Clark in the second round of the 2015 NFL draft after he starred at Michigan. He played four seasons with the Seattle before heading to the Kansas City Chiefs, where he won two Super Bowls.
The Denver Broncos signed Clark in the offseason. He played in only two games this year, recording two tackles, before the team released him earlier this month.
Clark had 39 tackles and five sacks in the Chiefs' Super Bowl-winning season last year. His highest-performing outings to date were with the Seahawks. In 2016, he had 47 tackles and 10 sacks and in 2018, he racked up 41 tackles and 13 sacks.

Clark will fill a hole left by linebacker Uchenna Nwosu, who head coach Pete Carroll said on Monday will likely need surgery for a pectoral injury and could be out for the season.
Clark reunites with All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner, who came back to the Seahawks this offseason after one year with the Los Angeles Rams. This season, Wagner is 10th in the league with 63 tackles through seven games and has added two sacks as the Seahawks have marched to a 4-2 record.
Seattle hosts the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
